the one behind the camera:
Hello there! I'm Claudia, a passionate Brighton based photographer with a decade of experience behind the camera. Alongside music, photography has been my true calling, and throughout these years, I've honed my skills in capturing the essence of live music events, creating captivating portraits, and producing engaging digital content for talented artists and bands. I thrive on the thrill of freezing unforgettable moments and bringing out the unique stories of my subjects through my cameras. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for capturing RAW emotions, I strive to create visuals that evoke a sense of connection and leave a lasting impact. It is my pleasure to share my artistic journey with you through my portfolio, so let's embark on this visual adventure together!
the camera(s)
the Nikon Z6 is my main camera. I use it for live music events, portraits, street photography, and weddings. This incredible digital camera has truly revolutionized my photography experience. With a great image quality, impressive low-light performance, and stunning dynamic range, tadah.
The Mamiya 645 is an absolute gem that I use for capturing portraits, exploring the vibrant energy of street photography, and even creating unique artworks. Its larger format and exceptional image quality allow me to bring out the finest details, making each shot truly mesmerizing.
Here's my trusty companion, the Canon EOS 620. More modern than the Mamiya 645, this amazing autofocus 35mm film camera has become an essential tool for capturing portraits while ensuring that every shot is perfectly exposed and focused. Perfect for my shortsighted eye.
Last but not least, the Canon IXUS 80 IS. I use this compact digital camera for capturing grainy retro artworks, promotional content and sometimes gigs, without the need for extra expenses on film and processing. Offering a unique feature that allows me to simulate the nostalgic aesthetic of film with its built-in grain effect.
